Onboarding, Sales and Events

Onboarding (Onboarding journey) follows hotels from a lead to a healthy hotel: leads, invited, signed up, applied, approved, live and healthy now, the median days from lead to live, Where people stop, Stuck drafts, the First 30 days of new hotels, and each rep’s numbers (By rep).

Sales shows what the Sales team is doing in the Sales app, for oversight: Active prospects, Need a follow-up, Quotes waiting, Founding hotels and Onboarded this month, the pipeline lanes (New, Invited, Viewed, Quoted, Signed up, Onboarded), Reps, Discounts ending and live Marketing pages.

Events shows weddings and events planners run across Upstay hotels: Live events, Next 30 days, Rooms held in blocks, Families invited and Booked stays from events, a table of events with their Open asks, Hotels earning from events, Needs a look, and each hotel’s Banquets.

  1. Open Sales.
  2. Read the lanes and Need a follow-up (an invite or quote silent for 3 days or more).

  3. Check Needs a look for anything waiting on a hotel.
  • Each onboarding step counts what happened in the window, so a step can be larger than the one before it.
  • An application’s Upstay’s checks (on Applications) are a reason to look twice, not a refusal.
  • Test hotels are left out.
  • Reps work in their own app; the Sales page only reads it.
  • A number says Not reported → Upstay has nothing recorded for it yet.
  • “No events in the next 60 days” → No planner has an event coming up.
