Team & tasks

Team & tasks is the owner’s page for the people who work at the hotel. Tasks sit in four lanes. You give each task to a person and it appears on that person’s Today straight away. Below the lanes, Everyone lists your team with their role, shift and last sign-in.

Admins (owners).

  1. The lanes are New, Assigned, Doing and Done today. The number beside each is how many tasks are in it.
  2. A card shows the title, the priority, the team and the person, or “Nobody yet”.

The person sees the task in a card called Given to you on their Today. It shows who it is from. They click Start to move it to Doing and Done to finish it.

  1. Read the line under the page title, for example “3 of 8 on shift now”.
  2. In Everyone, a green dot beside a name means on shift now. The Shift column shows each person’s shift.
  1. In Everyone, click Screen on the person’s row.
  2. Today opens as that person’s role sees it. The button is not shown on an Admin’s row.
  1. Click Add someone to add a colleague. The form is the same as in Employees.
  2. Click Manage on a row to open that person’s panel.
  • To set someone’s shift, click Manage, then Edit details, and choose a Shift. Nobody is locked out outside their shift; it only shows who is on now.
  • A front desk, manager or owner you give a task to also gets it in their bell. Housekeeping and concierge staff see it in Given to you on their Today.
  • Last signed in shows “Never” for someone who has not signed in and “Deactivated” for someone switched off.
  • The Create task button is off. → Enter What needs doing first.
