Online check-in

What it does

Online check-in fills your registration card before you arrive: the ID you will show at the desk, its details, a selfie, your signature and your consent. The desk checks it and your room key appears on your stay page. A foreign guest also adds the visa and fills Form C once; the hotel files it with the FRRO.

It takes about 3 minutes with one Indian ID, about 6 with a passport and visa. You can stop and come back.

Who can use it

The primary guest, for their own card. Every other guest on the booking fills their own card from their own link (see below).

Where to find it

On your stay page before arrival: Check In Online. Or tap Ask and type check in.

How to check in with an Indian ID

Tap Start Check-in. The header counts Step {i} of {n} and the minutes left.
Document: pick Aadhaar, Passport, Driving Licence or Voter ID. A saved ID from My Account appears first under Saved in My Account · fastest.
Capture: tap Take Photo or Upload ID for the Front (and Back when the document has one). Photos or a PDF work. The details are read for you.
Details: check Full name, Date of birth, the document number, Address, City, State. Each field says where it came from (From your ID, From saved ID, You edited). Fix anything that looks wrong.
Selfie: tap Take Selfie with your face inside the oval. Remove glasses if you can.
Signature: sign inside the box with your finger. Clear starts again.
Consent: tick I agree to share my ID with {hotel} for check-in, as required by law. and pick When will you arrive.
Party: everyone on the booking shows an ID. Tap Submit for Verification.

How to check in with a foreign passport

ID: pick Passport and choose the Nationality on this passport. Indian passports need no Form C; citizens of Nepal and Bhutan need no visa.
Scan: take a photo of the photo page. The two lines at the bottom are read and fill the details.
Details: check surname, given name, sex, date of birth, nationality, passport number, place and dates of issue and expiry.
Visa: Scan Visa, Upload e-Visa or Enter Manually. Tick I hold an OCI card if that is what you travel on.
Form C: arrival in India (date, port, arrived from), your stay (next destination, purpose), contact. The card at the bottom counts the fields left; Form C ready when none are.
Selfie, Sign, Consent and Party as above, then Submit Check-in and Form C.

How to send a co-guest their link

On the Party step, or on the done page, find the other guest’s card.
Tap Send {name} Their Link. Your phone’s share sheet opens with a ready message; where sharing is not available, Copy Link copies it.
The link opens only that guest’s card. They add their ID from their own phone, before or after you arrive. Their card reads Waiting, Submitted or Verified.

How to use a saved ID

If you saved an ID in My Account on an earlier stay, the Document step shows it first with From My Account.
Tap it. Every field fills from the saved ID and stays editable. Your stored photo is attached to this card.
At the end of a check-in, switch on Save this ID to My Account for next time. It is kept 90 days after your stay, then erased; the date shown is the erasure date, not the card’s expiry.

Tips & good to know

A photo in good light, laid flat, reads best. The card says Reading… while it does.
Clear & Refill on a submitted card removes your details, photos and signature. The desk approves the new details before the key works again.
Once submitted the card reads Submitted · the desk is checking. Verified reads Verified · your key is ready.

Troubleshooting

“Finish {step} first.” → A step above is incomplete. Go back and complete it.
“The desk sent your card back” → The reason shows under it. Retake the document photo and submit again.
“Your passport expires before your checkout date. The desk will contact you.” / the same for the visa → Submit anyway; the desk will reach you.
“This Link Has Expired” on a co-guest link → Ask the person who booked to send a fresh one.
